systems are go
i had my third and final appt. with my surgeon monday and according to him i'm "healing beautifully". no more needing to wear that dang blasted wrist splint yeeeehaw. i can wash my damn wrist hand and wrist again! that might sound like some trivial bullshit (it also probably sounds gross that i haven't washed that area in like a month...), but my hand has been dry as shit without aquatic nourishment and the skin on its been peeling like a motherfucker. my wrist too...expect more pictures of that soon bwahahaha. i'm still not supposed to put a whole lot of weight on the thing, so no heavy bag lifting with it as of yet. there's still supposed to be two more weeks til it's real deal healed. that should work out nicely since in two weeks i'm supposed to be bouncing. that's right kiddies...i'm really leaving. i don't think people believed it before but now it's a fuckload closer to being reality than ever befo'.

let's see here...went to happy hour with steph m. after work last night. thank jebus for long island iced teas. work has been off the wall the past couple of weeks and it probably won't get any better 'til the day i leave. we're knee deep in election shit and it's a killer baby. thankfully this week is already half over almost. i still have shit i need to take care of before i bounce arrggggh. can't be lazy...need to hop on that. leah's having some kind of party friday night (not sure if it's halloween related or not...hope i don't have to wear a costume) and my party is a week from then. i've decided to stop trippin' about what i perceive to be a lack of caring on people's part about my departure. if you want to see me then kosher. if not then kosher. i'm not going to go out of my way to kick it with people. so if you want to see me before i leave speak now or forever hold your peace (piece?).
